Beckhoff Automation zs9100-0003

The ZS9100-0003 shielding hood is an optional EMC accessory for ELM series EtherCAT Terminals. When the metal hood is pushed onto modules it forms a closed envelope together with the housing to shield against external interference. A secure and conductive contact of incoming cables with the braided screen is ensured. The shielding hood enhances the reliability of temperature measurements (TC, RTD), because it stabilizes the temperature at the terminal connection points and reduces the risk of measurement errors further still.
