The EL9561 power supply terminal generates an adjustable output voltage from the 24 V DC input voltage. This makes it suitable for supplying sensors or devices that require less than the 24 V that are usually available. It can also be used like an analog output terminal to simulate slowly varying signals but has far more output power than a 20 mA channel. The operating status is output via LED and process data. The diagnostics include the output current and the output voltage, so it is possible to integrate the terminal into an external control loop – for example, to reduce load effects.  The terminal is part of the group of adjustable supply devices: EL9501: operation with voltage specification of 0...20 V, up to 2 A, up to 15 W, without electrical isolation from the power contact supply EL9561: operation with voltage specification of 0...20 V, up to 2 A, up to 4.8 W, with electrical isolation from the power contact supply EL2595: operation with current specification, up to 48 V, up to 700 mA, up to 33 W EL2596: operation with voltage specification or current specification, up to 24 V, up to 3 A, up to 14 W EL4132: operation with voltage specification ±10 V, up to 20 mA (as an example from the EL41xx family) EL4012: operation with current specification of 0...20 mA, up to 10 V (as an example from the EL40xx family)  If no adjustable output is required, fixed voltage devices are available: EL9505/EL9508/EL9510/EL9512/EL9515: output voltage according to type, up to 0.5 A, without electrical isolation from the power contact supply EL9560: 24 V output, up to 0.1 A, with electrical isolation from the power contact supply EL9562/EL9562-0015: 2 x 24 V or 15 V output, up to 0.3 A, with electrical isolation from the power contact supply PSxxxx: DIN rail-mounted switched-mode power supply units
