Beckhoff Automation ep3744-2041

The EP3744-2041 EtherCAT Box, with six digital inputs, two digital outputs, and four pressure inputs, acquires these signals and transmits them to the controller under electrical isolation. The signal status is indicated by LEDs, while the signal interface for the digital signals utilizes 4-pin M8 screw type connectors. The pressure is measured as an absolute value or as a differential pressure measurement relative to the fifth connection via an integrated 6 mm fitting. The pressure values are available as 16-bit values. Measurement can take place between -1 and +1 bar, with the value output relative to the fifth connection – for instance, for vacuum measurement compared to the ambient pressure at the suction grippers. In absolute pressure mode, pressures between 0 and 1 bar can be measured. The operating mode is preselected via CoE parameters. If the supply voltages fall below a certain level (< 18.5 V) a diagnostic bit is set.
