The EP2318-0001 EtherCAT Box combines four digital inputs (four M8 sockets at the top) and four digital outputs (four M8 sockets at the bottom) in one device. The inputs have a filter of 10 µs. The outputs process load currents up to 0.5 A, are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity. The signal status is indicated by LEDs. The signals are connected via M8 screw type connectors.   The supply of the connected sensors is carried out via an internal, short-circuit-proof driver module with a total of 0.5 A for all sensors. The outputs are supplied via UP. All outputs are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse polarity.
