CPX27xx for application in hazardous areas, zone 2/22 With the CPX Panel PC series, the proven multi-touch technology of Beckhoff Panel PCs is available in particularly robust versions, complying with the requirements for use in hazardous areas classified zone 2/22. Scalable performance The CPX27xx Panel PCs features an Intel Atom® processor with up to four cores and are available with three different displays in the sizes 15-, 19- and 21.5-inches. Highest data availability and data security Due to the fanless structure and the use of a CFast card, the CPX27xx does not contain any rotating components. The CPX27xx comes with a 24 V power supply unit. Accessibility of the components Data media and the lithium battery of the system clock are accessible from the rear. Central EtherCAT control Due to its two independent Ethernet interfaces the CPX27xx is ideally suited as a compact central processing unit for an EtherCAT control system. Flexible expansion options Optionally, a third Ethernet interface and a 2½-inch hard disk/SSD can be integrated instead of the CFast card.
