To receive, send and display selected TwinCAT messages, apps can be downloaded from the app stores free of charge. The TwinCAT 3 IoT Communicator App communicates with the TwinCAT controller via a messaging service in the cloud or in a local network. Various mechanisms are available for authentication and encryption.
