LabVIEW™ is a graphic system development software developed and marketed by National Instruments™ (NI™), which has established itself in particular in data-focused applications in measurement and testing technology. Applications created in LabVIEW™ can be converted using the LabVIEW™ Real-Time module into stand-alone applications that run on NI™ real-time systems, such as the CompactRio or PXI controller. NI™ also provides an EtherCAT master for these real-time systems in the software NI™ Industrial Communications for EtherCAT. SE1103-1100 Beckhoff I/O VIs for LabVIEW™ includes VIs that are usable in LabVIEW™ and allow the convenient configuration of the Beckhoff EtherCAT terminals on the LabVIEW™ EtherCAT Master. With the VIs you can set specific properties of the I/O modules, such as filter settings, measuring range, oversampling and scaling factors, etc., directly from the LabVIEW™ environment. The settings can be made during the engineering or changed online at runtime by means of appropriate programming in the program sequence.
