The APS4244 XPlanar tile measures 320 mm x 320 mm, making it ideal for the two-way operation of APM43x0 movers (measuring 155 mm wide). The APS4244 can be combined with APS4224 or APS4242 as required. A minimum space requirement for corresponding XPlanar systems is guaranteed. The APS4244 XPlanar tile can also increase throughput and flexibility. Products are accelerated dynamically and travel at highest speed. What’s more, positions can also be approached with repeat accuracy of just a few µm. Dynamic transport and precise positioning are compactly integrated into a single tile. The electrical supply is provided by an integrated power supply unit (3~ 380…500 V AC/24 V DC feed). Data communication and the electrical supply are daisy-chained through from tile to tile. Cable connections are facilitated by convenient bayonet fasteners such as the B17 connector.
